I'm trying to install AutoCAD 2014 (using a student key) on my laptop, but keep getting an Error on the installation that reads "an internet connection is required to install a windows component". This occurs when I try to use a browser-downloaded installation, as well as an ISO mounted installation. Now the issue that I have with this error is that my internet connection is both connected and working fine. My computer meets all the required specificationsI've been running the installation as an administrator with my firewall and UAC turned off, but have spent hours trying unsuccessfully to get this to work. The installation appears to be failing when it attempts to install the Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5. I have the 4.5.1 .NET Framework installed, but have also tried uninstalling it and letting the 3.5 one from the Autodesk installer install - this gives the same error as before, "an internet connection is required to install a windows component". I have also tried editing the setup.ini file to make it skip over the .NET installation, but had no success with getting that method to work.
