Is it possible to set the application.exe.config for the WCF Data Service hosted on Windows Azure?
For example, I would like to set the application.exe.config's connection string property to point to a SQL Azure database.

I don't think this is possible. I don't think the properties are exposed at all. I've searched the web and there doesn't appear to be any documentation about this. The closest thing I can find is which tells me it can be changed using web.config, but that's not the same as your exe.config file.
CTRP9 attenuates ventricular remodeling after myocardial infarction through the PI3K/Akt and MEK1/2/ERK1/2 pathways in mice.
Cardiotropin-1-related peptide (CTRP9), a novel adipokine, has been proposed to exert anti-inflammatory and pro-angiogenic properties. This study aims to explore the effects of CTRP9 on ventricular remodeling after myocardial infarction (MI) and the underlying mechanisms. MI was established in mice by coronary ligation. The results showed that the mRNA and protein levels of CTRP9 in the serum were increased after MI. CTRP9 overexpression in vivo increased capillary density and peri-infarct area, and CTRP9 knockdown in vitro inhibited the proliferation and migration of HUVECs. CTRP9 overexpression decreased ventricular remodeling, fibrosis, the expression of pro-fibrotic genes, and myocardial apoptosis, increased survival rate and decreased infarct size. However, CTRP9 deficiency increased ventricular remodeling and apoptosis, and deteriorated cardiac function after MI. In addition, CTRP9 overexpression activated the phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3K)/Akt and MEK1/2/ERK1/2 pathways, but it had no effects on the phospholipase Cγ/protein kinase C
